The Editorial staff of Abraham's rule(ruler) expresses its affection in the notion of tradition such as it was redefined by René Guénon in the XX-th century. In the essence, this one indicates(appoints) any revealed forms of which function(office) is to pass on the totality of a divine Message through time. In the particular context of monotheisms this message understands(includes) a secret dimension, ésotérique, and a religious dimension exotérique, forming a quite inextricable. The example of the Cabal in the Judaism or the Sufism in Islam stated this deep link which unites these two constituents of the Revelation. It says, every traditional shape can be also envisaged as being the adapted and specific demonstration of an original Tradition, real original Deposit(warehouse) of the Sacred Science. So Tradition it is at the same moment unchanging and subjected to cyclic laws, what requires as a consequence the consideration of contingencies by the Providence and by the spiritual authorities loaded(charged) to represent her(it) in our world.

Let us add that, of our point of view, the notion of Tradition is settled in a sense purely spiritual, without link with certain ever-changing political scenes neo--right-wingers, sometimes more or less associated to the Nazi ideology which was, let us note, widely influenced by the occultism and the théosophisme. Now, if one knows which role played R. Guénon in the denunciation of this last one, one knows less that it(he) sharply questioned, from 1930 , the " German racists " about their arbitrary and anti-semitic use of the swastika (the Symbolism of the cross, chap. X, n.2) .Maintenant, that many try hard to get back the work in different circles extreme reactionary conservatives, implies inevitably a radical incomprehension of this one.

René Guénon was born in Blois on November 15, 1886, he dies in Cairo on January 7, 1951.

Real furniture restorer of the traditional thought, the work is unclassifiable and extraordinary literally, without equivalent known until this day.
